Veronica E. Garnett, MS, RD is a powerful, courageous and open leader. Her passions, skills, and talents cannot be contained in one title.
Veronica has either been studying and/or working in the field of nutrition and dietetics for almost 15 years. She is a registered dietitian specializing in HIV nutrition care, diabetes nutrition education, and women's health nutrition. Veronica received her bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences from Howard University and her master’s degree in nutrition education from Columbia University. She is currently pursuing her associate's degree in culinary arts from Hudson County Community College.
Outside of the world of food, nutrition and dietetics, Veronica is the avid adventurista. She is the founder of Black Adventuristas, LLC, an organization's whose mission is to support the well being of Black women by connecting them to one another and adventure experiences in their local communities and beyond!
Lastly, Veronica is a social justice advocate and proponent of The Health at Every Size (HAES) and body positivity movements. One way that she has furthered this advocacy is through plus size modeling.
When she is not being an awesome dietitian, cooking nutritious and delicious foods, jumping out of planes, walking the runway, or advocating for a better world, she can be found spending quality time with her family, friends, and dog Chewy.
